In large quantities, this herb was at one time used as an abortifacient, and has been known to affect the menstrual cycle. Angelica Root is a good remedy for colds, coughs, pleurisy, colic, rheumatism, and kidney and bladder infections. This herb is also used to treat indigestion, gas, and colic.
