Grape Seed Extract

Grapes have been used for thousands of years for food, wine and even medicine. Grapes are actually rich sources of chemicals called oligomeric proanthocyanidin complexes (OPCs), and these OPCs have been shown to have powerful antioxidant properties.

Supplementing with grape seed helps supply the body with these powerful OPC antioxidants, which help protect the body on a cellular level from toxic free radicals. By keeping these free radicals in check, this can help slow the aging process, combat sickness and disease and provide cardiovascular protection.

There is currently no recommended daily dose of grape seed, although for maximum benefit products should be standardized to 40 - 80% proanthocyanidins or an OPC content of not less than 95%.
