Ginger

Ginger is native herb to Southeast Asia and has been used in medicine for more than 2,500 years. The root is the part of ginger that is used for medicine, as it contains compounds called oleoresins which have anti-inflammatory properties and are also known to have a positive effect on the muscles in the digestive tract.

The most common use of ginger these days is for anti-nausea, and it may also be beneficial in treating motion sickness and reducing flatulence.

There is currently no recommended daily dosage for ginger.
